What should i do?

Hey guys, it's Ben again this time i should be literate because of some people.

Anyways on March 15 my friend is pratically having a Birthday party but as you know it's on a sunday.
Due to my parent's religious i MUST go to chua and i'm planning to try to tell them.
GDPT does mean to me except i'm kind of tired of it it sometimes get in my outside life.
I'm not complaining nor am i dissing GDPT i'm just asking for your advice what should i do?
If i talk to them my parents will be asses saying "your becoming like those Americans that will screw up thier life in the future"

So all i'm going to say is if you were me what would you do go to the B-day or GDPT?

They won't listen to me }:O saying Buddhism this and that.
I know it's important and all but it's kind of annoying seriously.
My friend's athiest which is a good thing but if i do make it to his party i'll only hve 2 hours to spend w/ him }:O

I can't think of a reason why your friend would be holding it on a Sunday. I have never heard of parties on Sundays. I think it's fine to take a break from GDPT for a week because of good reason, not because yo felt like it. I would let you go, but ultimately it's up to your parents. Maybe you can ask your friend to re-schedule it to Saturday instead.

He thinks on Sunday so there won't be much people liek going to places like Boowincools and etc.
Anyways yeah they won't let me } it's kind of getting on my nerves but still it's one day and i ratther spend a sunday with you guys then some party.
I'll just go to it next year I'll hang out with him probably the day before it's his birthday or friday.
I mean we come every week just once a day or what so ever i'll just give him 20$ a card and there you go Happy Birthday.

i would go. his birthday party is once a year, chua is once a week.
